Terrorism and the Law
At a special session on the issues of global terrorism and international law, the IBA announced the funding and launch of a major task force, to report in Durban 2002. Speakers at the session included Ralph Zacklin from the United Nations, Judge Richard Hunt from the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia, and Fali Nariman, President of the Bar Association of India. An early announcement has been made of the participation in the Task Force of Judge Richard Goldstone of South Africa. More details on the work and composition of the Task Force will follow shortly.
