2,500 Lawyers
In a remarkable demonstration of their sense of purpose and community, 2,500 lawyers defied the challenges of world events to come together in Cancun. At over 50 specialist sessions, lawyers from around the globe worked on aspects and issues of international law. Among those which attracted the attention of the legal press are the issues of multinational strategy and how to manage conflict of interest, and the challenges to client privilege of tougher anti-money laundering legislation.
