Transparency and Enforcement Survey Draws Broad Response

The IBA’s Issues and Trading in Securities Committee’s Transparency and Enforcement Survey continues to draw responses from leading law firms around the world.  Those of you who are interested in this project can access the results at the website of the IBA Issues and Trading in Securities Committee, at www.ibanet.org/committees/SBL-Q_Survey.asp where, as of 15 July 2004, 30 responses appear, with more to follow soon.  The final objective is to synthesise the results of the survey in a written work to be distributed to participants and presented at the IBA Conference in Auckland this October.

If your country is not on our list and you would like to add it or to comment on any submitted answers, or on the project in general, please contact Margaret E Tahyar and Jake S Tyshow of Davis Polk & Wardwell at margaret.tahyar@dpw.com and jake.tyshow@dpw.com.  In particular, we still need volunteers from Australia, Malaysia and Russia.
