SBL Launches Anti- Money Laundering Website
The Section on Business Law of the IBA has launched an Anti-Money Laundering Forum website providing a unique ‘one-stop-shop’ for access to the most current versions of each EU member state’s anti-money laundering laws and regulations, direct links to national anti-money laundering authorities information websites and a large amount of related information. HRI Training Programme for Iraq
The Human Rights Institute of the IBA is running a series of programmes providing training in international human rights and international humanitarian law for Iraqi judges, prosecutors and defence lawyers. For further information click here.
 


Task Force Report Published
The Section on Business Law’s Task Force on International Multijurisdictional Commercial Practice has released its final report and recommendations. Among their recommendations the Task Force of leading international lawyers has called for new regulation to support lawyers seeking to advise clients across national borders.
