Tyco – Back From the Brink
The March issue of International Bar News includes an interview with Bill Lytton, Tyco's General Counsel. Lytton found that chaos reigned on his arrival at Tyco soon after it hit the headlines and has spent the last year-and-a-half helping to rebuild its shattered image. The legal team in particular has warranted special attention, suffering from a lack of centralised control. It's been a difficult time, but Lytton believes that the company has made real progress. To read the article click here.

First HRI Training Programme for Iraq Successfully Completed
In Dubai, 51 Iraqi jurists-including the Chief Justice, Chief Prosecutor, and President of the Bar Association-have participated in the first in a series of training courses conducted in international human rights law offered by the International Bar Association (IBA) under the auspices of the International Legal Assistance Consortium (ILAC). For further information click here.
