About the speakers

  

Ms. Mary Ann Wymore is an Officer in the Litigation Practice Group at Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. in St. Louis, Missouri. She provides advice and counsel to clients and litigates in the following areas:  First Amendment and Constitutional law, communications, media, advertising and technology law, unfair competition and intellectual property. Ms. Wymore is an Adjunct Professor of  Law at St. Louis University School of Law, where she teaches classes in Media Law and Electronic Media Law.  She also is a member of the American Bar Association’s Forum on Communications Law, and has authored articles on media-related issues which have appeared in various legal publications, co-wrote Chapter 14 of the Missouri Media Law Handbook, entitled “Eavesdropping, Wiretapping and Hidden Cameras,” and has lectured extensively on communications and media related issues.

   

Andy Walkup is an Associate with the Greensfelder, Hemker & Gale, P.C. Litigation Practice Group.  In addition to general litigation matters, his practice focuses on state and federal litigation in the areas of health care, intellectual property, and media and communications law.  Mr. Walkup has been involved in representing a variety of clients in these areas, including telecommunication companies, hospitals, and individuals.  His experiences include litigation concerning the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), RICO, contract disputes, patent and trademark disputes, and class actions.  He also has experience representing hospital clients in credentialing disputes and probate matters concerning patient care, including electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) and guardianship.  He represents clients in all aspects of litigation leading up to and including trial.
