Life Insurance Premium Payments Not Deductible Business Expenses
The Tax Court recently held that life insurance premium payments made on behalf of doctors by a partnership consisting of S corporations owned by the doctors are not deductible as business expenses to the partnership or the S corporations and it has held that the premium payments are not income to the individual doctors.
